Netherlands: invest more and better in global health

Investing in global health is effective. The Netherlands should therefore invest more money in global health, especially through multilateral channels and without earmarking. This investment should be less non-committal – by allocating a fixed percentage (0.1%) of GNI to it – and benefit low-income countries. Our new infographic shows that the Dutch government has not achieved this percentage in recent years. Moreover, with announced budget cuts, the budget for global development and health is under pressure. We call for more and better investments. Because health affects us all.
