Somo and Wemos react to minister Bruin’s answers to report ‘Overpriced’

The report ‘Overpriced’, which we published together with partner organisation SOMO in May, shows how Dutch tax money is used for the development of new medicines in the Netherlands. We have issued a joint response with SOMO, in reaction to Minister Bruin’s answers to parliamentary questions about the findings of our report.

Last Friday, D66, CDA and VVD presented their coalition agreement. Wemos welcomes the fact that, after years of cutbacks, there will now be (modest) investment in international cooperation again. However, we would like to see more ambition for global health justice. Read more
