End-term evaluation shows high impact of the Make Way programme
The Make Way programme, aimed at breaking down barriers to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for marginalized groups in societies, ended in December 2025. The end-term evaluation of the programme shows that Make Way successfully influenced national, regional, and global policies, strengthened the advocacy capacity of civil society organizations and young people. On October 28th, we handed over an open letter to the Dutch Ministry of Health calling for increased transparency in the pharmaceutical sector. The letter was signed by numerous experts and organizations, including the Dutch Patient Federation and Doctors Without Borders Netherlands. The current lack of transparency is leading to inexplicably high medicine prices, which weigh heavily on healthcare budgets. Early next year we will also present the letter to the Dutch House of Representatives.
